You can apply this Country Kit to the following Autodesk products running on allsupported operating systems and languages.

• Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2020

This Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 consists of the following features:

• A new MSI based installation package
  • The installation is now standalone and is no longer added or removed through the Add content feature in the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 installer.
  • To add this Country Kit to a deployment you must add it using the Include additionall software feature.

This Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 has the following known issue:

There is a specific scenario where the Country Kit content is installed in default locations despite being configured otherwise.

This occurs when:

• The Country Kit is added to a deployment as additional software
• The deployment specifies 'Support Content' locations other than 'Local user profile folders'
• The Country Kit is the first instance of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 launched on the workstation

The workaround for this issue is to launch another Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 profile such as 'Metric' first, then launch the Country Kit. In this case, the inital launch of the Country Kit will find the specified folders and place content properly.

As you prepare to install this Country Kit, keep the following in mind:

Back Up Custom Files

It is recommended that you back up all custom CUIX, MNR, and MNL files before you apply this Country Kit.

Administrative Privileges

To apply this Country Kit, you must have privileges to install and uninstall products. During installation or uninstallation, you may be prompted for the original installation file or a network image.

Network Deployment

Administrators can deploy this Country Kit over a network using the Deployment Wizard.

Close the Application

It is required that you close Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2020 before proceeding with the installation of this Country Kit.

Reboot

After you install, it is recommended to reboot your system even if not prompted.

Launching this Product

After you install, a shortcut for the Country Kit will be placed on the desktop.

Apply This Country Kit to a Stand-Alone Installation

Follow these instructions to install this Country Kit on a singlecomputer.

1. Close any open Civil 3D sessions.
2. Download the appropriate [Country Name]_Content_C3D_2020.msi to your desktop.
3. Double-click on the downloaded .msi, review the License Agreement, and then click Install.
4. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Apply This Country Kit to a Network Administrative Image

The following recommended method of distributing this Country Kit for Autodesk^® Civil 3D^® 2020 applies only to administrative images created with the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 Network Installation wizard. After you complete this procedure, any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have this Country Kit applied to them automatically. For information on creating and updating a Network Administrative Image please see Workflow: Creating a network deployment.

To apply this Country Kit to an existing Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 administrative image:

1. Download this Country Kit and save it to any shared folder on your local network.
2. Close all running Autodesk applications.
3. On the workstation where you initially created the Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 deployment, open the Tools folder and double-click the Create & Modify a deployment shortcut icon.
4. Follow the wizard to the product configuration screen and expand the Include additional software accordion.
5. In the Additional Software section, click Add and browse to the location you saved the Country Kit.
6. Collapse the Include additional software accordion and click the Create button.

Now any new deployments of Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 will have the Country Kit applied to them automatically.

This Country Kit can be uninstalled from the Apps and features Microsoft^® Windows^® settings page.

Follow these instructions to uninstall this Country Kit on a single computer.

1. Close all running Autodesk applications and make sure the installation source files are available.
2. In Start > Settings > Apps & features, click on the Autodesk Civil 3D Country Kit you would like to remove and choose Uninstall.
3. In the Country Kit for Autodesk Civil 3D 2020 maintenance dialog box choose the Uninstall option.
